  1. Why should I buy my tickets through the MyCityRocks Ticket Exchange?
     
    The MyCityRocks Ticket Exchange provides you the option of getting the seats you want for the events that you want to attend. When an event is sold out at the box office, or if you want the best seats for an event and they are no longer available from the box office, the ticket sellers on our site will often have great tickets available for you at the best prices in the MyCityRocks Ticket Exchange.
     
    The MyCityRocks Ticket Exchange creates an active marketplace for ticket buyers and sellers. At any given time, more than 20 million tickets are listed for sale by thousands of different sellers and for tens of thousands of different events.     The sellers of the tickets on the MyCityRocks Ticket Exchange will often request a price greater than the face value of their tickets in order to be willing to give up their seats. It is entirely the individual seller's choice -- MyCityRocks does not set the prices of tickets listed.     A few tips for smart ticket shopping: Because ticket prices are set by each individual seller at the price point at which they are willing to give up their seat, a more expensive seat is not in every case a better seat. Feel free to consult the seating chart for the venue (at the top right of the ticket listing pages) and select the seat that best meets your needs. Also be aware that sometimes a seller will offer their general admission ticket for resale at a price greater than what is still available direct from the box office. That's fine when an event is sold out, but the offer doesn't make sense when it isn't. Use our site to find good deals, and just ignore the sellers with unrealistic expectations! Anyone is welcome to use the MyCityRocks Ticket Exchange to find tickets to events around the world.

    The MyCityRocks Ticket Exchange is a marketplace where thousands of individuals and brokers from around the world are able to list tickets that they are selling for a variety of sports, concert, and theatre events. MyCityRocks is not the seller of the tickets, just the host of the marketplace. When you buy tickets through the MyCityRocks Ticket Exchange, you are purchasing them directly from the ticket seller, not MyCityRocks. You will be billed for the tickets by the ticket seller, and the tickets will be shipped to you by the seller from their location. The MyCityRocks Ticket Exchange does, however, provide a 100% money-back guarantee that any tickets you purchase through our ticket exchange will be authentic and valid for entry, as described below.
     
  4. How fast can I get my tickets? Can I get my tickets if I order them the same day as the event?
     
    Tickets are usually sent electronically, or by a one or two business day delivery service, depending on which option you select on checkout. Tickets are not always shipped immediately, particularly when an event is far in the future. Please note that one or two day delivery means that the tickets will be delivered within one or two days of when they are shipped by the seller, not necessarily within one or two days from when they are purchased.     In many cases, the actual seller of the tickets is located near the event venue, and it may be possible to have your tickets delivered to you by hand or by email the same day as the event. If you need day of event delivery, and you don't see an option for it on checkout, or if you have any other questions regarding ticket delivery, you should call our toll free customer service line (see our contact info below) and talk to our customer service representatives.
     
  5. Will my seats be together?
     
    Seats sold as a group (in a single transaction from one seller) are guaranteed to be together unless otherwise stated in the notes.
     
  6. Why is a ticket exchange fee added to my tickets? Are there any other costs?
     
    The base price of the tickets listed on our site is the fee paid to the seller, and is set by each individual ticket seller based on the the price point at which they are willing to give up their seats. Before your purchased is finalized on checkout, a ticket exchange fee is shown, and added to the price of your tickets. The ticket seller passes on the ticket exchange fee to us to compensate us for our costs of operating and marketing the MyCityRocks Ticket Exchange web site, and providing associated customer service (the efforts of more than 100 people go into running and updating the Ticket Exchange!). MyCityRocks also reinvests a portion of its revenue in supporting a wide variety of charitable causes within our local communities.
     
    We work hard to keep our ticket exchange fees reasonable, so you will know you are receiving the best ticket prices when you shop on the MyCityRocks Ticket Exchange. But in the unlikely event you should see a lower price for the same seats through another secondary market (ticket resale) web site, please send us an email at ticketprices@mycityrocks.com and let us know!
     
    In addition to the ticket exchange fee, a shipping/delivery fee is added on checkout, and varies depending on the delivery option selected. Finally, in many cases (particularly when the ticket buyer and seller are in the same state), the law requires that any applicable sales taxes are assessed. If that is the case, then the ticket seller will add those taxes to the charge appearing on the buyer's credit card statement.
     
  7. What guarantees do I have with regards to my tickets?
     
    While the transaction to buy your tickets is strictly between you and the ticket seller, MyCityRocks wants you to know that you can shop on our site with confidence, and we therefore provide guarantees to the ticket buyer.     If an event that you purchase tickets for is postponed, tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date. While all sales are final, if you ever buy tickets for an event that is permanently cancelled, or that becomes unnecessary (such as a game in a playoff series that is never played), the price of the tickets will be refunded.
